I will to will Thy Will

While I was working full time and running the world as I knew it, I came across a quote; I will to will Thy Will. It resonated with me on such a profound level that I would find myself instinctively repeating this phrase under my breath whenever I sat down to compose proposals, enter meetings or engage in a difficult conversation of any nature. The beautiful gift in using this mantra was that it unhitched my deep seated belief that I needed to understand the why of almost everything, most especially the past.

What if I skipped the stress and torture of believing I was responsible for understanding and arranging all of the chess pieces in just the right order to win the game. The quote suggested to me that perhaps my responsibility was simply to feel into my Self for divine indicators.

About a year later, during this time of extreme mental weakness, the quote came front and centre.  What if I absolutely relinquished my need to understand and more importantly my need to control, and simply felt for the YES in the moment?!
